There is nothing like meeting you baby for the very first time. It is amazing how quickly they change. As a Mississippi Newborn Photographer and mom myself I understand that before you know it they move into the next diaper size, start sleeping through the night, and all of a sudden they are off to college on their own! As a mom and a photographer, I understand the importance of capturing this irreplaceable time in your baby's life. Your precious little one is a miracle and every feature is a gift to be celebrated.

I have been professionally trained in newborn posing and safety. I take great pride in serving my clients providing the best experience for busy moms from start to finish. From help with wardrobe and styling to ordering prints and heirloom albums, I am here for YOU! I am based out of McComb, MS but I have created newborn photography in Jackson MS, Hattiesburg MS , Covington LA, Baton Rouge LA, New Orleans LA and all surrounding areas.

During your session we will begin by taking any family shots you may wish to capture. Younger siblings are always welcome to stay, but often times dad will take them to town for an ice cream run or outside to play. I also have a ton of toys in studio along with a tv, so the kids feel right at home! Sessions typically can last anywhere from 2-4 hours. Sessions are never rushed. I take great pride to ensure the everyone is comfortable and relaxed. The sessions are baby led meaning I will do my best to capture your vision, but ultimately the newest addition rules the roost! I will never force baby into poses and I will always work at baby's speed.

Following your session, you will receive an online proof gallery to select your images to be professionally edited. At this time you may even purchase additional images if you love more than your package contains. Final galleries will be returned in 2-3 weeks. From the gallery link you may purchase professional prints and canvases. I also offer custom designed heirloom quality albums to be passed down for generations. Custom designed birth announcements are another favorite as well!

frequently asked questions

I am often asked "When is the best time...."

I recommend booking your maternity session between 30-34 weeks. It is best to contact me during the first or second trimester as availability fills quickly.

Newborns are best at 5-15 days old. I know it is never a sure date of when baby will come. Once you are in the hospital and the baby is born, you can reach out to me as soon as you can and I will send you available mornings in the following two week. Newborn session can be done outside of this window, babys older than two weeks can be more alert and are growing quickly. Baby acne and peeling skin can appear around this time as well. Although none of these are reasons to not have your baby photographed, I highly recommend getting your photos during the first two weeks. A photo session of your baby is always a good idea. As a mom, I know we need those photos of our children before they grow up. It happens overnight, trust me!
